Packaging & Accessories

The Tecno Phantom 8 packaging is a bulky affair with the usual accessories; earphones, USB type C cable, a transparent back case, sim ejector pin, charger head and some user manual. To be honest, Tecno did some good work here, the packaging is fully accessorized.

First impression

The Tecno Phantom 8 is 5.7 inches and is fully metallic.

The 12 and 13 MP Dual Auto-Focus rear cameras with Tri flash are well fitted at the back. Below the camera, we have the fingerprint scanner. The front camera is 20 MP.

At the top, you have the headphone jerk.

The hybrid SIM, on the other hand, is located on the right-hand side of the Phantom 8.

On the left-hand side, we have the volume rockers placed slightly above the power button.

Underneath the Phantom 8, we have the speakers grills which is one of the best things I love about the device. This is where we also have the USB port.

Honestly speaking the Tecno Phantom 8 is a well-designed device and is a complete upgrade from its predecessor the Phantom 6. The 12 and 13 MP Dual camera do an excellent job. The 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 2 terabytes via a MicroSD is also a plus.
