Exclusive: More details about the TECNO Camon CX revealed

Many of us are looking forward to the Tecno Camon CX  launch in Kenya. So much has been leaked already so most people already have an idea of what to expect when the device finally hits the market.

The Camon CX is already up for pre-order, so if-if you want to, you can pre-order it from a number of TECNO branded shops across the country. The list of shops is available here.

Now as I mentioned in my first teaser article we all loved the Camon C9 which was launched last year. TECNO raised the bar in smartphone camera by producing the first 13MP front camera phone in Africa.  The camera surpassed our expectations especially the selfie and in low light environment beating most high-end devices camera hands down in the Kenyan market. What then should we expect with the Camon CX?

A leaked image suggest the Camon CX will come with a large ultra-pixel 16MP camera. Added to that is Dual LED flash.

From the leaked image, it’s easy to tell that the camera has a very large sensor similar to what we have recently seen on the iPhone 7. Remember the iPhone 7 has one of the best low light cameras on a mobile device. Having a larger sensor only means Tecno wants to dethrone the iPhone 7 by implementing a better camera on the upcoming Camon smartphone. Well, we won’t be talking much about that, let’s just wait for the launch.

As far as the size of the Camon CX is concerned, several reports have been flying about that, it could be the biggest TECNO CAMON so far. Well, in our first article we mentioned it will have a display of 5.5″ IPS Touchscreen, which is not bad. The leaked images show that the Camon CX has a completely different design but bigger and sleeker that what we saw with its predecessor, the Camon C9. We just hope the leaks are right because this is one of the things that will really make me buy the device.
