There is so much we have told you about the Samsung Galaxy S8. Most of what we have written before revolved around what you should expect in terms of specs with our recent post being of a leaked image of the device.

What we were not sure about though is when Samsung was going to launch is and how much it would cost you to get the Galaxy S8. Latest rumors, however, suggest that the phone could be launched on March 29th.  If these rumors are true, then we should expect to phone to see the light of day during the Mobile World Conference 2017.

Traditionally, Samsung has always used the annual Mobile World Conference (MWC) as to announce it’s new flagship phones, so this rumors could actually be true. Although some reports have previously emerged that the company might skip MWC this year and hold its own ‘’Unpacked’’ event later in April.

Chinese ETNews, according to the Indian Express,  also reports that Samsung has already started the production of 10 million initial units for the S8 to be ready by late April. Report from South Korean media also says that Samsung is targeting to produce and sell 60 million units of the Galaxy S8.

This is a very ambitious move by Samsung which is also under pressure to deliver a flagship device that improves on the specs of last year’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.

Samsung has also recently shared a promotional video of the Galaxy S8. The video introduces us to a device sporting a much smaller top and bottom bezels, with no physical home buttons.

One thing we also know is that the Galaxy S8 will be the first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 835 processor. It is also rumored to sport a 5.1-inch 2K Quad HD display and come with 8GB of RAM.

Well, we are all looking forward to this device and we hope Samsung, just as the leaks suggest has something good in store for us.
