HMD Global has announced that the Nokia 1 will be available in the country from 16th April 2018 at an estimated price of KES 9,500. The device was among the five devices including the legendary Nokia 8110 which were unveiled by HMD at the 2018 Mobile World Conference in February.
The Nokia 1 is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 1 packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel camera for selfies.

The Nokia 1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) and is a part of the Android One program. The device features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.

The dual SIM device Is powered by a 2,150mAh battery and comes with 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS as the standard connectivity options.
It will be available in Warm Red and Dark Blue from Nokia’s accredited retailers across the country.
