Updated: Here’s a list of shops where you can buy the latest Nokia devices


You all have been asking where you can buy the latest Nokia devices apart from getting them on e-commerce site Jumia Kenya through our latest deals page here.. Well, I have tried coming up with a list of offline shops and Nokia retail stores where you can buy these devices, including the Nokia 3.1 which started going on sale yesterday in Kenya for Ksh.15,999.

Below is the list.

  1. Smart Hub – Tom Mboya Street
  2. Zetort Hilton – Kimathi street,
  3. I Centre – Kenyatta Avenue 
  4. Avi communications – Kenyatta Avenue and
  5. Edin – Harambee/Moi AVE junction

Please note this is not a complete list but we will keep updating it. The Nokia devices can also be bought from most open retail stores across the country.

As earlier mentioned Nokia devices are available on Jumia. Below is the list of the available devices and their prices.

 

Nokia 1

The Nokia 1 is the cheapest Android smartphone yet from HMD Global. It is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB.

Nokia 2

The Nokia 2 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and sports a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) LTPS In-Cell Touch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC (quad-core, clocked up to 1.2GHz) coupled with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM.  It also sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front fixed focus camera.

Nokia 3.1 

The Nokia 3.1 features a 5.2″ display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and runs on Android v8.0 (Oreo) operating system. The device is powered by Octa-core (1.5 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53 + 1 GHz, Quad core, Cortex A53) processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. As far as the battery is concerned it has 2990 mAh. Over that, as far as the rear camera is concerned this mobile has a 13 MP camera .The internal storage is at 16 GB with the option to expand the memory by Yes Up to 128 GB.

Nokia 5.1

The Nokia 5.1 is a huge upgrade over its predecessor featuring a FullHD (1,080 x 2,160 px) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a 40% faster chipset. The IPS LCD measures 5.5” in diagonal and is covered with 2.5D Gorilla Glass for protection. With the Nokia 5.1 you’re also getting what Nokia is calling a budget octa-core chipset, (Mediatek MT6755S), 2GB  of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage. The Nokia 5.1 packs a 16-megapixels primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.  It runs Android 8.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh.

Nokia 6 (2018)

The Nokia 6 (2018) comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. It is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 6 (2018) packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Nokia 6 (2018) runs Android 8.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery.

Nokia 7 Plus

 

The Nokia 7 Plus comes with a 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch. It is powered by octa-core processor and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. For the the cameras, the Nokia 7 Plus packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

Nokia 8110

The Nokia 8110 4G feature phone comes with the elegantly curved slider design and a 2.45-inch display with a resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels. It is powered by 1.1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 205 processor to keep it running flawlessly and it comes with 512MB of RAM. The phone packs 4GB of internal storage which unfortunately cannot be expanded. For the camera, the Nokia 8110 4G packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear, no selfie camera for selfie lovers. The device is powered by a 1500mAh removable battery and measures 133.45 x 49.30 x 14.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs just  117.00 grams.

The device is available for in the country for Ksh.8,000.

 

Nokia 3310 (2017)

The Nokia 3310 (2017) measures 115.60 x 51.00 x 12.80 (height x width x thickness) and comes with a 2.40-inch display with a resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels. It packs 16MB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 3310 (2017) packs a 2-megapixel primary camera.
