Jumia is selling items under Ksh.500 at half the price

Jumia has launched a Stock up campaign that will see its customers purchase up to 500 items under Ksh.500 at half the price. Dubbed Jumia Stock Up Week 500 Items up to 50% off, the campaign will run from 9th to 13th January both on the Jumia website and app.

According to a statement from the company, the campaign will focus mostly on groceries, FMCG and beauty items.  Jumia has partnered with companies like L’Oreal, Unilever Kenya, Tuskys, Brookside Dairy, PZ Cussons, Kapa Oil Refinery and Chandaria Industries among others in the 4-day campaign.

‘’As more people continue to embrace online shopping for their day-to-day home supplies, the campaign is aimed at encouraging shoppers to stock up their shopping and beat the Njaanuary Blues.’’ the company said in a statement

The company continues to grow its market share in the everyday essentials category, as Fast Moving Consumer Goods continue to grow quickly. According to figures published by Jumia, the category has the highest share of repeat purchases out of any on Jumia.

In November last year, Jumia also partnered with Majid Al Futtaim, the exclusive franchisee operator of Carrefour in 15 countries across the Middle East, Africa and Asia to sell groceries and household goods online.

Through this partnership, the two partners say more shoppers will now have access to a variety of Carrefour products, providing them with a shopping experience that is safe, convenient and stress-free from the comfort of their homes.

Remember to take advantage of this campaign, simply visit the Jumia website or download the Jumia Kenya mobile app.
