Hands on with the new Nokia 225: Slimmest affordable Phone Yet


Nokia recently released what they’ are calling the Slimmest Affordable Internet Phone (to date) whose main aim they says is to bring internet to more people.

The phone features a slightly larger 2.8″ display making it “not only an ideal fit for pockets and handbags, but for also keeping you entertained on the move” The display is well above normal as the resolution is 320 x 240 pixels on a QVGA LCD scree.

The Nokia 225 is a 2.8’sleek, slim and stylish phone in the distinctive Nokia design available in 5 colours including bright red, yellow, and green, black and white. This 10.4mm thin Internet enabled phone comes with Xpress browser with Bing search integrated to surf the web. In addition, you can download and play online videos while connecting with friends via preloaded social apps such as Facebook & Twitter. Its 2Mp camera is ideal for snapping pictures or recording videos. The phone is packed with entertainment features including preloaded games, access to a game store, MP3 player, FM radio (headset required), support for up to 32GB micro SD card, and a speaker with 102.4 db output . It is armed with a great battery with 36days (SS) standby time and 21hrs talk time. SLAM for a faster and easier way to share content via Bluetooth are included.

The handsets also come pre-loaded with Facebook and Twitter apps and comes pre-loaded with Block Breaker 3, Asphalt 6, Assassins Creed 3, The Avengers and Real Football 2012 games.
