The internet has been hit by so many rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S8. Here at TechTrendsKE, we have shared what we know about this new device, which as we said is expected to be Samsung’s comeback considering what the company went through with the Note 7.
In our last article about the Galaxy C8, which you can read right here, we mentioned how Samsung was doing its best to make the Galaxy S8 a better device. Of course, the company wouldn’t want anything to go wrong with the Galaxy S8, not like what happened with the Galaxy Note 7.
The latest leak now shows what could actually be a picture of the Galaxy S8 prototype. The leaked photograph surfaced on Chinese social networking website Weibo this week. The supposed Galaxy S8 pictured sports a curved display which up a large portion of the front side, just as rumors spreading on the internet indicated.
The most noticeable difference between the purported Galaxy S8 and its predecessor, however, is the omission of the physical home button and capacitive navigation keys. What’s strange, however, as SamMobile reports is that there don’t appear to be any on-screen buttons, either. The buttons should, however, be visible when you head into the settings or any other app. So don’t get so much excited about this photo, it cold maybe just be photoshopped or Samsung could probably be looking at ways to increase the screen at the expense of the navigation buttons.
But again as SamMobile reports, If this (or a similar feature) turns out to exist, then it’s likely that they keys would only appear when a user swipes up from the bottom of the screen.
In the meantime, all we can do is wait and of course we will be sharing more information about the Galaxy S8 as we get them.
