Here’s how you can stream today’s Apple’s iPhone launch event

It’s Wednesday, September 12, 2018, and this is the day we expect Apple to unveil a new iPhone. Actually, we are expecting three new notched iPhone models to come out of today’s event; the iPhone 9, the 5.8in iPhone XS and the 6.5in iPhone XS Max.

We are also expecting to see the Apple Watch Series 4 and a few other interesting accessories.

The unveiling will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park premises in Cupertino.

The event officially kicks off at 1pm ET/ 10am PT which should be around 8:00 pm today and should take between one and two hours.

How and where can I stream?

Apple has made streaming easier this time around. Previously, the company used to make its events Safari-only for streaming via a web browser. Now, you will be able to stream it from the browser of your choice. On its official website  for the event, Apple says its stream  “is best experienced on an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch using Safari on iOS 10 or later; a Mac using Safari on macOS Sierra 10.12 or later; or a PC using Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge”

This means you can stream the event on Apple’s site at apple.com/apple-events/september-2018, using:

  • Safari on iOS 10.0 or later
  • Safari on macOS Sierra 10.12 or later
  • Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 or
  • Recent versions of Chrome or Firefox on Linux

For the first time ever, Apple is also streaming the event live on Twitter for the first time. So if you want to be notified when the event starts going live, just like the tweet below and Apple will notify you.

Well, if you’re an Apple products enthusiasts then this event is something you should really be looking forward to. We will be sharing more details as the event happens through our Twitter handle @TechTrendsKE, so be sure to follow and engage with us.
